Last Minute
A little while ago, me and some of my friends had a bit of chat with
Rajiv sir(our physics professor). Don't know from where, but topic
shifted to Life and death. And as usual sir fired a question at us.
"Just Imagine (Krrish the movie wala just imagine), you have just a
minute to spend before your death. and it's sure that you are going to
die. so what would you like to do in such a scenario?" at first instance
that sounded to be a normal question and as usual i took it very
lightly, as if it was never gonna happen. And i said that i would like
to eat chocolate. Now that was childish i know but that's the first
thought strikes in my mind when he asked so. Maybe i wanted to eat it at
that time. cant say!!!! And like me, even others answered. But all of
them were a bit foolish answers like mine. Later he said, go home and
think deeply regarding this before you sleep. And I did just that. And
guess what, i did'nt sleep that night. For a while, i tried to take it
seriously and started to think. As in what if it happens actually.
Slowly and gradually i got very serious. So serious that at a point i
really thought that someone's going to kill me in couple of seconds and i
m helpless. the usual fearfull thoughts started to strike my head like-
how can i prevent this, there must be some way out to escape. Believe
it or not, i was about to start RAM bhajan. Please GOD save me.
But i did'nt do that. After a while i got out of those weird thoughts. I mean I became normal.
Just two simple words-"Just Imagine"- gave me a sleepless night.
rather a scary one.
I drank a glass of water and started to think again. And this time i knew not to go too deep. So started swimming in some shallow thoughts. Now if just one single thought can do this than "Just Imagine" what would happen if it was for real. I can't. Because i don't want to. Why to get so stressed unnecessarily. But still the point remains intact. What would we do on the last minute of our life? Again i settled down to think. what would i actually do? Of course for sure i wont waste that minute in eating chocolate. So than what? After some hefty trial and error with thoughts and some fight with my inner conscience, i got to a final conclusion.
And that is.........
"I would spend every single micro second of that LAST MINUTE to save myself and prevent death"
This is reality. We all have a lot to do. And we've got just one life to do it. So at any cost i cant let someone decide about my death. Noway!!
OK so why did I got such a feeling? Because still I have a lot to do with my life. And i wouldn't like it to end like this. So again i started to think. Rather analyze things like past, present, even future.
Normally we would waste our time sitting in front of an idiot box, watching movie, or sticking to the so called FACEBOOK without any purpose. Thinking that we don't have anything else to do. but there are such scenarios where we actually feel what we are missing out a lot or we have already missed it.
No one's got a problem if you do the above mentioned stuff. Not even yourself. But than you have no right to blame even yourself that what you did wasn't intended by you and you ran out with this precious time. So you know all fault was your. You yourself choosed to do what you did. And finally what you're left with is some tears in your eyes-which no one can understand- and a lot of regret-which no one would care for. that is what makes you feel low and helpless. And than you search the past for some happy moments to make you feel good, but that's just for a while. A long despair awaits! That is the reflection of what you choosed to do with your life.
As far as i m concerned, i wouldn't like to have such an ending. So the point is do something for which you need not blame anyone-including you-or regret at a later part of your life.
Someone said this: do you know what is the thing which can bring you a quality smile?
You go in your flashback and find nothing to regret upon. To feel sorry upon. You know you did and achieved what you wanted. Your life was the same as you imagined. No stone left unturned. No task due. No desire left to fulfill.
After this all you get is pleasure which comes straight from your heart and to your face in form of smile.
And all this when you are taking your last breath. Yes your last breath. The ability to make your last breath so happy and so pleasure full is what makes some people extraordinary. They knew, The didn't wanted to cry upon anything. They lived their life to its full.
Finally you vanish into the dark, but as a legend in your own eyes is a special feeling.
This feeling of satisfaction with your life is everything. It's priceless. And so remember that you are-every second-defining your last minute.
"Every Second Counts"
~The End~
Do you know who said the above quote? (Someone said this: do you know................)
No need to guess.
It's me. Yes you read it right.
