Change
Work done by the team of Satyamev Jayate was marvelous. Right from the sheer thought of creating such a fantastic show till the broadcasting of the same has been top of the line. The endurance of the thought of change is the need of the hour.
My apology. have been reading british novels lately. And in particular I blame Jeffrey Archer. Good job with "The sins of the father".
But 'Change' is what everyone craves for today. Right from the son of an ordinary farmer to a retired army officer. We want change. We don't know how, but we do desire.
Just finished with "What young India wants" by Chetan Bhagat. Its the same story retold again and again with different garnishings. But are we really ready to work for a change!
We ll, sadly - NO.
Let me elaborate with an example.
I live in Anand. The milk capital of India. And I'm pursuing Master of Science in Biotechnology at ARIBAS located in Vallabh Vidhyanagar, which is in close vicinity to Anand.
In V V Nagar one would find more number of students residing in hostels than the total number of politicians in India. Hostel life is excellent. They would tell countless joyful moments spent. But I frequently hear one drawback. And that is the quality of food hostels provide. Students pay tens of thousands per year and in return they aren't satisfied with the meal. This may not be the case everywhere. But yes it is a major issue to be considered. So I lend a free of charge suggestion to those whiners, and that was - let the authorities know what troubles you are facing. I strongly believe, they are there to help you.
Solution: take some pictures of the cooking area, pack some lunch for them to taste and write a letter.
Bravo. Excellent idea.
Now what?
Now put it in action. God! I have to tell that too.
Yes it is an excellent idea. And we'll put it in action.
A week later.....
Dude I hate hostel food, lets go some place else.
Didn't you complain yet?
Yeah I did talk to my friends about that and no one was ready to write a letter, so dropped the idea.
What the Hell. Could our generation be more lazy! - I told that to myself (obvious).
So the point is, they like to complain me for the bad food, they pay for that food which they don't consume and pay extra every day for restaurants. They want change but they don't take pain to write even a stupid letter.
And the story continues till they get a life partner who cooks or for whom they can cook.
At times I feel, they deserve this. But then, its their parents who suffer for the extra money for food and bad health of their kids resulting from frequent intake of junk foods.
Similar situation exists in many parts of the world.
Focusing India, we want change in many aspects. But do we even take the pain to vote?
Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are sophisticated terms for representing a zoo.
I find the proceedings, more hilarious than Comedy nights with Kapil. (No hard feelings Kapil sir, I love your show. keep it up)
But who has made it so?
It's us, the citizens of India.
As my friend says, Citizens are those people who live in city. The people in cities are too busy to worry about government and the rest are least bothered by the candidates of LS and RS cause all they care is when will it rain. And this makes up a huge chunk of our population.
Who wants "CHANGE"?
Me Me Me Me Me Me............
Who'll bring about "CHANGE"?
Let's call God and request Gandhi for a day. And he'll bring change. Why? Cause its his job dude. Come on, he was born to bring a change.
So, why were you born? Only to give your bit to this ever increasing world population!
We take birth, give birth, and ultimately die. Harsh truth.
Can't we change the trend! Don't we deserve a better life! Don't we crave for a good night's sleep!
Yes we do.
Then please do your bit of effort and make the change happen.
